Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan detained in Armenia refuses nomination for the post of Prime Minister of the republic

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to TASS, Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan firmly rejected the proposal from opposition parties in Armenia to nominate him for the position of head of government. The public was informed about this by the clergyman's lawyer Ara Zohrabyan.

"I am completely satisfied with my service as a spiritual person, therefore I ask not to use my name in the list of candidates for the post of Prime Minister," - says the archbishop's statement published by the lawyer.
