An earthquake of significant magnitude has occurred in Russia

Powerful earthquake shook the Kosh-Agach district of the Altai Republic

As reported by TUT.AZ, the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region recorded underground tremors with a magnitude of 5.4.

According to rescuers, the epicenter of the disaster was located just 12 kilometers southeast of the village of Kyzyl-Tash. Residents of 10 settlements of the republic felt the earth's crust vibrations.

According to preliminary information, no casualties or injuries were registered as a result of the natural cataclysm.
