In Makhachkala, a brazen attack was carried out on famous MMA fighter Timur Khizriev. This is reported by the Telegram channel SHOT.

According to the source, the incident occurred around 23:30 Moscow time (00:30 Baku time). Two unknown masked individuals opened fire in the courtyard of a residential building on Daniyalov Street.

According to preliminary information, the perpetrators deliberately waited for Khizriev, who at that moment was getting out of his car.

"Unknown individuals ambushed him, then fired about 10 shots from a non-lethal weapon and fled," the publication reports.

As SHOT notes, Timur Khizriev is a Russian mixed martial arts fighter who has experience competing in prestigious tournaments such as PFL series, Bellator, and several other competitions.
