"On March 31, 2024, Zubaidullo Ismoilov saw on television that a counter-terrorist operation had been introduced in the Republic of Dagestan, he became afraid that he would be detained... he hid in a mosque in the village of Novy Agachaul in the Republic of Dagestan, where he was detained," according to investigation documents cited by RIA Novosti.

The day before, new details were revealed in the criminal case materials: gunsmiths from Ingushetia, Khusen Medov and Khavazh-Bagaudin Aliev, received half a million rubles for manufacturing the assault rifles that were subsequently used in the attack on "Crocus City Hall." Notably, the funds were transferred to the bank card of Medov's mother, who was unaware of the origin of this transfer.

The bloody tragedy in the concert hall unfolded on the evening of March 22, 2024. Just before the start of the "Piknik" band concert, armed attackers burst into the hall and opened random fire on the audience. Shortly after, explosions rang out in the building and a fire broke out. The brutal attack claimed the lives of 149 people, one person is listed as missing, and 609 citizens suffered injuries of varying severity. Suspects in the terrorist attack were detained the following day. According to the investigation, they were intercepted in the Bryansk region while attempting to escape to Ukraine.
