About 40 thousand foreign tourists are stranded in Israel due to the closure of airspace
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Israeli media, tens of thousands of travelers cannot leave the country via regular air travel.
The Ministry of Tourism of Israel has promptly deployed information support for guests stranded in the country. The department is actively helping tourists with temporary accommodation and developing alternative evacuation routes.
"We are also trying to help tourists by offering them currently available options to leave Israel through land border crossings via Jordan and Egypt, which remain open," emphasized a representative of the Ministry of Tourism.
