Trump is confident: Putin and Zelensky are ready for peaceful conflict resolution

US President Donald Trump, during a briefing for journalists at the White House, expressed confidence in the readiness of the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to reach an agreement on resolving the conflict.

"I think it will be a good meeting, but the second meeting that we will hold will be more important. We are going to have a meeting with President Putin, President Zelensky, myself, and possibly we will invite some European leaders. Maybe not, it's not known yet," said the American leader.

"We'll see what happens. I think President Putin will make peace. I believe President Zelensky will make peace," Trump emphasized.
